Kent County Show

Love tea? Heading to the Kent County Show?! Then keep an eye out for our stand in the Produced in Kent tent at this year’s event, Friday 7 – Sunday 9 July at the Detling Showground, near Maidstone.

Open from 8am to 6pm every day, the Show is a wonderful day out with plenty of displays, entertainment and local food.  With over 400 exhibitors and trade stands and over 300 competitions and activities the Kent County Show highlights the countryside and rural life and is a great day out for the whole family.

This is our first time at the show and we’re really looking forward meeting as many of the expected 80,000 visitors as possible. We'll be armed with our usual selection of hand-blended loose leaf teas, some of which are now available in pyramid bags, lots of tea-making accessories and, given the weather forecast, cold brew tea to enjoy there and then!

For more information about visiting the show, click here. We look forward to seeing you!

Max Latham 1952-2016

November 21, 2016

We are very sad to announce the death of Max Latham, my Dad, on Wednesday 16th November 2016.

It’s safe to say that Debonair Tea Company would not exist without Dad who was my original tea muse. Indeed, he is the reason I was the only person who turned up to university with a one cup teapot, tea strainer and loose leaf tea.

Dad was also a massive influence in my political study and decision to stand for local office on a number of occasions.
