With the barometer hitting 30°C last week, we decided it was high time we put some iced tea recipes out there for you to enjoy.
While a hot cup of tea can be quite refreshing during the summer months, hot weather and iced tea presents a great opportunity to experience the subtle flavours of tea in a whole new context.
Iced tea can be made using two methods – pour over, using traditional hot tea brewed at double strength and cold brew, which is tea steeped in cold water for a long time. The latter tends to draws out the flavours more gently and is less likely to give rise to bitterness, particularly in black, green and oolong tea.
