How to Brew Iced Tea

While a hot cup of tea can be quite refreshing during the summer months, hot weather and iced tea presents a great opportunity to experience the subtle flavours of tea in a whole new context.

Any of our teas can be served iced, but we particularly recommend our fruit tisanes for this purpose, including Raspberry and Orange, Juicy Ginger and Rosebud Lemonade teas.

Iced tea can be made using two methods; Pour over - using traditional hot tea brewed at double strength and Cold Brew - tea steeped in cold water for a long time. The latter tends to draws out the flavours more gently and is less likely to give rise to bitterness, particularly in black, green and oolong tea.
