The undisputed home of tea, China has returned to dominance in tea exports over the last couple of years, a status previously enjoyed for centuries. Indeed, the China Tea Marketing Association estimated that China will export at least 300,000 metric tons of the 2.8 million tons of tea it produced in 2018 - that's a lot of tea!
